The Placement Cell of the Department of Chemistry supports post-graduate students in launching careers in research, pharma, QC, and chemical industries. We aim to provide every post-graduate student with opportunities to excel in core and allied chemical sectors.

Placement Highlights (Year –2026)
The Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi, successfully organized a two-day campus placement drive on May 21–22, 2026, hosting SRF Limited (Chemicals Technology Group)—a market leader in technical textiles, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, refrigerants, and industrial yarns. The two-day selection process comprised three rigorous rounds: an Aptitude Test, a Subject-Knowledge Assessment, and a Personal Interview. Following this, the final round of interviews was conducted at the company site.
As a result of this drive, three postgraduate students were selected with an annual package of ₹5.50 LPA. The Department extends its heartiest congratulations to the selected candidates and sincere gratitude to SRF Limited for a successful placement drive.
