Dr. Sarika Singh joined the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi, as an Assistant Professor in June 2023. She received her M.Tech. and Ph.D. degree in Materials Science from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, IIT Bombay, Mumbai, in 2015 under the guidance of Prof. D. Bahadur. Her Ph.D. research area was focused on surface-engineered oxide nanomaterials in wastewater remediation. She completed her post-doctorate under a PBC fellowship at Tel Aviv University, Israel, in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Brian Rosen. During her post-doctorate, she works on developing coke-free perovskite-based catalysts for dry reforming to syngas production. She has also visited Argonne National Laboratory, Chicago, USA, to work on high-energy synchrotron radiation. Her research interests are “synthesis of functional nanomaterials, photocatalysis, wastewater purification, dry reforming of methane, CO₂ reduction for H₂ production, and methane to methanol conversion. Before joining the department, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Manipal University Jaipur. She has received a research grant from UGC-DAE CSR. She has published more than 23 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals with high impact factors, such as ACS Catalysis, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Scientific Reports, Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces,Advanced Functional Materials, and Applied Catalysis B: Environment, etc., having h index 16 and citation 1931. She has also published two international book chapters and one Indian patent.
