Professor Dhanraj T. Masram
(Professor)

Professor Dhanraj T. Masram has been working in the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi for the last sixteen years after a four-year and four-month stint at RTM Nagpur University. He has obtained his Ph.D. degree from RTM Nagpur University. He also worked as a researcher at School of Materials Science, JAIST, Japan in 2010. In 2012, he received the Fast Track Young Scientist project by SERB-DST. He has successfully conducted many projects (major and minor) from various funding agencies, like SERB-DST, DBT, and UGC etc.
He has guided ten students to accomplish their doctoral degrees, two M. Phil., two M. Tech students and six Ph.D. students are working with him. Currently, he is involved in synthesis of inorganic crystalline materials and their applications in bioinorganic chemistry. He is also working on the synthesis of materials viz. polymer, GO, RGO, GONR, MOF and COF-based composites to study the stability of biomolecules like proteins in human bodies. His research group is synthesizing nanocomposites of various metals (gold, silver etc.) and studying their interaction with GO, RGO, GONR, MOF and COF, which are applied in biosening, drug delivery, dye degradation and catalysis etc.
Prof. Dhanraj has published several research articles, reviews, and book chapters in peer-reviewed national and international journals of high scientific repute which have been widely cited. He has also presented his research work at a number of national and international seminars and conferences, which include invited lectures. He has co-authored a book published by Nova Science and also co-edited a book, Analytical Chemistry (an Indian adaptation), 2020, published by Wiley, India.
He is on the reviewer panel for many international journals (ACS, RSC, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, Springer, and Elsevier) and also a life member of various Chemical Societies (ICC-Agra, Indian science congress, CRSI-Bangalore, SMC-BARC, Mumbai, ISAS-Delhi, EMSI, and FOSET-Kolkata). He has actively served/served as a member of various academic committees at the University of Delhi as well as at other universities and institutions of repute.
